WILDLIFE CAN BE DANGEROUS
If you live in the country it pays to be cautious. Always deal with dangerous wildlife before it becomes a major problem. I love to watch wildlife, but deer especially can cause real danger to a homeowner. Once when a fully grown deer ran right past my kitchen window, I marveled at how huge this one was. It was like someone’s big old milk cow jumping my fence.
Buck deer can be very aggressive during mating season and hunting season, and I have heard more than one account of a car being viciously attacked. Female deer are especially dangerous when they have babies to protect.

I am very watchful whenever I walk out to the road to get my mail, for being chased 150 feet back to the house is a race I’d surely lose. Due to this, I take whatever means necessary to discourage them from coming onto the property. My own safety comes first.
Carrying a loud Air Horn to scare them off is a great, non-violent way to deal with dangerous wildlife. You can buy them on the internet.

If I am especially worried that a dangerous animal is in the vicinity, I will carry a can of insect spray that is able to spray over 20 feet. I’ve never had to use it, but an aggressive animal is going to get a great big mouthful if they ever come too close.
